Hello, everyone~! I hope you guys had a good summer. :) Welp, this oneshot was supposed to be for Feels Friday, buuuut it's getting posted today. Just as a warning, get ready for feels. Ok. Enjoy!
Fall of the Valkyries
I will never forget that day. Everything had happened way too fast. One moment, I was hanging with my friends and the next, we were attacked by creatures of Grimm.
We were outnumbered: 8 to 40. Too bad for the monsters, though, for they were about to fight with hunters and huntresses in training. Soon, the battle began. Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang were fighting a cluster of Beowolves and Ursi, while Juane, Pyrrha, Nora, and I were fighting some Boarbatusks and Beowolves. We were all able to diminish the number of the monsters, but they kept coming.
We ended up splitting into four groups of two, partner with partner. Nora and I fought with a few Beowolves, killing two every minute.
I was busy fighting when I heard Nora softly gasp behind me. Turning my head, my eyes widened in fear as I saw Nora drop Magnhild and fall to the ground, clutching her side. I ran to her, killing any Beowolves that were there. "No no no no..." I kneel down next to her and see a pool of blood forming near her side, caused by a big slash on her side and stomach.
"N-Nora? Nora!" I yell, tears starting to form. Nota weakly turns her head towards me and smiles. "R-Ren..." "Please... Stay with me... You're going to be ok... You're g-..." I can't say anymore for tears are falling down my cheeks.
"Ren..." Nora whispered weakly, slowly lifting her hand. She reaches up and lightly touches my nose. "Boop..." Nora closes her eyes, her hand dropping to her side, and her breathing slowly stops. The life begin to drain from her face.
"Nora...? Nora?! Nora! No! Don't leave me! Wake up! Wake up!" I start to scream, shaking her lifeless body. The tears start to really fall. "No... no..." I whisper, sobbing.
Just before the attack, she was being the hyper person she always was. Now, all that's gone along with her. I had lost my teammate, my partner, my friend.
