In an intense battle with the marines, Zoro sliced through the crowd. Nothing he couldn't handle. He slashed through the forces with ease. Unfortunately, he strayed quite far from the group and had been surrounded by enemies.
'Not a big deal,' Zoro thought to himself. 'Just another chance for some intense training.' A marine charged up from behind and managed to land a blow on Zoro's right leg. He winced at the pain, but took no hesitation to bring the attacker down. Blood seeped from the wound, but Zoro would pay no attention to it.
'It's just a cut, who needs all that blood anyway,' he thought to himself. He fought on, finding that the battle took his mind away from the pain.
Suddenly, a bullet went straight through the wounded thigh, making him buckle. It made him glance down at the newly created injury and another marine tried to use this opening. Zoro quickly held up his katana, but was not ready for the impact, making him fall over. The injuries on his right leg made that limb unable to move.
'Pfft, who needs two legs anyway, that's just a spare,' Zoro thought, encouraging the rest of his body. He would make it out alive. Countless marines piled on him, swords flying, bullets sounding. The butt of an rifle clubbed his left arm, making his hand spasm and his katana fall to the ground. He felt his arm break upon contact. He would not be using that arm again in this fight.
'Another challenge,' Zoro smirked, earning a gasp from a marine, who felt as if Zoro was a monster. After all, who smirks when their arm breaks? 'Nobody needs two arms, the second one is just for support. I don't need that.' He arced his right arm in a large circle, taking out the people in his immediate vicinity. The marines were facing a demon.
Suddenly, Zoro felt a wave of dizziness flash over him. Too much blood had been lost. He didn't notice the marine who stabbed his left leg. Or the marine who snapped his right arm.
'Tsk,' Zoro winced. 'Twas but a flesh wound. Limbs get in the way too much, all you need is your brain and to believe.' The the astonishment of the few remaining marines, Zoro fought on. Swinging his head, he took out the marine who had stuck a sword in Zoro's left leg. He let gravity pull his torso down as he dodged the marine on his right, who then received his judgment. He looked around, only about five or six marines left standing. He smiled his demon-like smile again, making his audience tremble.
Unfortunately, he started losing consciousness. There was too much loss of blood.
'Meh, didn't need any of that anyway,' he thought to himself. The marines closed in. 'All that matters is that I was strong. I will not succumb to pain. They can think that they have taken me down, but the never will.
You can never take Roronoa Zoro's heart away. Is mind and soul...
Will always remain strong.
