The Peeping Scarecrow
Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto. Ain't it obvious?
A/N: I normally don't support SasuNaru and I normally don't write fics about it but for the sake of Sapphire Nymph, who celebrated her birthday days ago, I'll let myself turn into an abnormal person. Only this time.
Sapphire Nymph, I'm sorry if this is not what you really expected but hey, at least I tried to write yaoi, ne?
The two of them were inseparable. Er… scratch that. The two of them were only inseparable when nobody's watching. Or when they think that nobody is watching.
When they are alone, Sasuke and Naruto would act like how lovers should act. They would hold hands, exchange hugs, and steal stolen kisses from one another. And when everybody is around, they're back to being just dobes and temes. Nobody would ever suspect that the two had an affair.
If the two were that discreet, how then did I, Hatake Kakashi, know about this? One might guess that it's because I have sharingan or because I ordered Pakkun to tail the two, but I'm afraid that the reasons I've mentioned above are all wrong. The real reason might make Gai talk a lengthy speech about me being youthful and will make Sakura proud.
I came to the Team Seven's meeting place earlier than everyone.
See, I had read a chapter or two in the Icha Icha Paradise about two male characters who "hated" each other. It turned out that the reason that they were always bickering was because the sexual tension between them was too thick. Finally, the day came when the tension was released and was forever gone. It was because of that story that I speculated that maybe my male student are secret lovers. So I shunned my usual tardy self and decided to investigate about. Jiraiya would be so proud.
I hid myself in the bushes and made my chakra undetectable, and there I waited. The seconds turned to minutes and I was getting impatient. I was about to give up, go home, and read Icha Icha Paradise for hours but I heard footsteps approaching the meeting place. And so I stayed. The two didn't disappoint me.
Sasuke was holding Naruto protectively and was whispering something on his right ear, making Naruto blush profusely. It was obvious who the seme and who the uke is. The two bonded and I sat there in the bushes, stupefied. I never expected Itachi's stoic and angsty brother to get interested in a guy, nonetheless the most stupid ninja in Konoha.
Minutes later, Naruto stood up, flustered, and said goodbye to his lover. I wondered for a moment why Naruto left. When Sakura arrived, I then understood and might have been proud of their cleverness but the shock still didn't wear off at that time.
I suddenly did the unthinkable when Naruto arrived. I came out of the bushes and greeted them cheerfully. Their reactions were varied. Sakura turned pale, being caught red-handed at bad-mouthing me; Sasuke also turned pale but still managed to glare at me; and Naruto, being a dense idiot that he is, welcomed me happily.
I wish I have never done that thing for weeks later, Sasuke betrayed Konoha.
I'm gonna go kill myself 'cause the ending sucked [I know]. But I hope you'd still review. ;]
