Outkast
Chapter 1
A White she-wolf stared in awe as a dark figure charged toward her at full speed. She stood plastered to the ground not knowing what to do. This can't be happening! She thought to herself as she braced herself for the impact. The dark figure slid closer and closer until…..it disappeared. She looked up in astonishment. Where did it go? Have I defeated it without even knowing? She calmed herself down knowing it wasn't coming back. She looked around at herself; looking for any scratches or cuts it may have made on her. She saw the golden star on her tail wasn't spinning with light anymore but it was stiff and black.
This is ALL wrong! Am I dead? Why isn't my star spinning! She looked up at where she was but it was unfamiliar to her. She sniffed the air. Still… nothing. "Where are you guys!?" She yelped. "Valch? Hud? Where are you?" The pup heard a voice coming from the far side of the forest. "STELLAR! STELLAR HELP! AGH! "
She turned to the voice "VALCH!" Stellar screeched seeing her friend covered in blood. "What happened to you?" She dashed over to him sniffing his body. His intestines were hanging out of his side. "I - I – it wa - as – th – th – the da – a – an- g – o – o I – I –I –I th - th - th- in- n – k - k." Valch replied blood started to pour out of his mouth due to his injuries. She sniffed the air again. "What is that?" Stellar asked herself. "W – w – w – w – w – w – what?" He stuttered.
"Shhhhhhhhhhhhh" she said perking her ears up as she turned around glancing around the clearing. Nothing. She turned back around to Valch; staring at his wounds. She looked at his face. Valch's eyes widened. "What?" Stellar asked tilting her head to one side. She turned around again. The large dark figure came into the moonlight showing its teeth. "I thought I lost you back in the clearing!"she murmured to herself. She saw it wasn't a dark creature but it was a white heavily muscled wolf. "What are you doing here?" she asked the white wolf.
"I'm here to deliver a message of death," He replied in a deep, harsh tone "to your team, your army of canines." Stellar stared at the wolf in astonishment. "No. No one, no dog is going to die in this army. Were all healthy and fit. You're the killer. You are killing Valch!" she protested. She looked at Valch as he fell into the darkness. "Valch? Come on! Don't leave me!" Stellar's eyes started to tear up. The wolf growled at Stellar. She turned around in respond.
"Shut up." Stellar spat with a look of anger in her eyes. The wolf threw his mouth open at Stellar and snapped it shut on the scruff of her neck. With a powerful grunt he slung her across the clearing and into a tree. She hit with a thud and slid down the trunk. The wolf turned around and charged at her. Stellar covered up her face as the wolf bit down on the pup's back. He slung her up in the air with ease and propped his mouth open. Stellar flew bck down to earth toward the open mouth. "NO! NO! NO!!!!!" She screamed. She started to feel strange poking on her cheek. Fifteen pokes turned into a slap. Stellar jerked herself out of sleep to find the alive Valch and Hud standing around her. Their bushy tails slapped the floor of the den and excitement shone in her eyes. "You were talking in your sleep y'know!" Hud said. "It was fun to watch but we had to wake you up sometime!" Valch added. "By the way training's 'bout to start soon. We need to eat breakfast now if we don't want to get sick while training. Let's go!" Hud and Valch dashed out of the tunnel toward the fresh-kill pile with Stellar close behind.
