I loved her more than anyone could understand. More than Ares and Aphrodite loved each other. More than my mom loves Paul. I love Annabeth to Tartarus and back, we would know. The second I saw her I knew she was the one. I was going to ask her to marry me right after the war. We have been dating almost a year but have known each other for five years. We had just defeated Gaea and together we walked to the dining pavilion. Even after two wars we still have to follow the stupid table rule. Because of it I couldn't sit next to Annabeth. It was time. I wished an apple to come to my plate and a bright, shiny red apple appeared. "Annabeth, catch!" I yelled. Right when she turned, I threw it. Everybody was silent, you could have heard a pin drop. "Remember when I told you throwing an apple to a girl is a proposal of marriage?" asked Annabeth. "Yeah, want the ring too?" I yelled smiling. She ran up and kissed me with the whole pavilion staring at us. "I guess that means yes," I said stupidly. "Yes, yes, a million times yes!" she screamed. I took her hand and we sped to the lake. Time to recreate our first real kiss. I pulled her underwater and made a bubble. We kissed at the bottom of the lake for what seemed like hours. It was the best kiss we ever had. Suddenly we weren't at the bottom of the lake anymore, we were in the Olympus throne room. The rest of the seven, Nico, and Reyna were there too. "We have called you here to reward you for your victory against Gaea and to congratulate Percy and Annabeth on their engagement, I believe they deserve it. Percy and Annabeth step forward. We offer you the gift of immortality, do you accept?" asked Poseidon. "I accept," said Annabeth. "I also accept," I stated. "Excellent!" yelled Poseidon. "Jason please step forward," said Zeus. "What wish do you ask of us?" "I wish that all the minor gods get recognition," said Jason. "It is done," said Zeus. "Piper please step forward," said Aphrodite. "What do you ask of us?" "I wish for all of us to get at least a month off," said Piper. It went on like this until everybody had got a wish. We were flashed out of the throne room and Annabeth and I were in my moms apartment. She screamed, "Percy you're back!" "Yeah, and I have some important things to tell you." "Okay, Paul get in here," my mom yelled. Paul walked in and gave each of us a hug. "Okay number one, and you can't make a big deal out of this, it will only make the flashbacks worse. Annabeth and I fell into Tartarus after Annabeth defeated Arachne and got caught in her web. I grabbed her and we fell together, into endless darkness." They both stared at us like we were from another planet. "Percy, that's awful." "Don't make a big deal, remember what I said." "Next, we defeated Gaea and we beat the Roman's. Another good thing that happened was that Annabeth and I just accepted immortality. Also, we're engaged." "Percy, that's wonderful!" my mom shouted. Annabeth and I both received a bone crushing hug. I guess she could look past the Tartarus part, if only we could.
