Gusses POV:

I waited impatiently at the airplane gate, Rachel and Max's plane landed about 10 minutes ago and there was no sign of them. I hadn't heard from them in while either, thoughts passed through my mind; what if she fell back in love with her ex? What if her and max weren't even on the flight to begin with? Just as these thoughts were about to take over Rachel's face appears through the gate door. I ran to her embracing her in the tightest hug yet

"I've missed you so much." I said, while refusing to let her go.

"I've missed you too boo, and Max did to." She replied smiling, and looking down at Maximus as he played with his soccer ball behind her pile of luggage.

I kneeled down so I was eye level with Max, "Hey little man, how about we all go get some ice cream then talk about your time in England?"

He nodded his head in response, I could tell that he was warming up to me but he was up set to leave his dad. I understood, but I wanted to change his out look on my relationship with his mother.

We got in the blueberry and drove to an ice creme shack on the pier, by the Psych office.

The sun was setting as Rachel, Max, and I pulled up to my apartment, we lugged their luggage inside. I had to move my pharmaceutical case to make room for their stuff. Since it was their first night back here and it was getting to be Max's bed time, I just let them sleep in my bed and I took the couch.

Just as I was about to fade off to sleep, I smelled the pineapple upside down cake Shawn made me in his easy bake oven. My nose drove me to the table. As I scooped up the last piece and downed my milk, Rachel shuffled out towards me in her fuzzy slippers.

"Thank you for letting us stay here." She said, as she hugged me from behind.

"Of course, my house is your house for as long as you need, I love you." I told her, standing up and grabbing her soft hands.

"I love you too Burton." She smiled and looked up at me.

My night ended with a kiss...
