Exercise is great, it gives you a natural high! Here's another story!
I do not own Naruto.
Neji could not believe his horrible luck. After an appointment with fate yesterday, he had discovered no one saw the world the way he did. Now he was humiliated.
People kept pointing at him and snickering. His entire family thought he was a joke.
He held his head high anyway, seeing things in a new light thanks to that fateful encounter. At the very least, Naruto and Shino didn't laugh at him. He dreaded hearing what his own teammates would have to say about his change in his view of the world.
He walked into his training ground, where all three of his teammates were involved in basic hand-to-hand combat practice. Tenten didn't even look at him as she greeted him. "G'morning, Neji. You're kinda late, you know that?"
"Hn." Neji responded, somewhat glad he hadn't gotten an unusual reaction. Lee turned to look at him, starting up a fiery speech. "Neji, it is entirely unyouthful to be late! And also- You seem different today, did you lose weight?" Lee said, staring at him. Neji frowned.
"Geez, Lee, what could possibly be that different...." Tenten turned to look, then stopped, completely shocked. Neji looked back at her seriously, and she could almost detect a hint of pleading for her not to laugh at him.
She tried to hold it in, but it was just too funny. "Neji! You- You have," She laughed uproariously, "GLASSES!" She howled the last part, falling to the ground to laugh while Lee seemed to get it and started to laugh as well. Neji crossed his arms and scowled.
"It's time for training."
This did not interrupt his teammates laughter, and he could see even Gai was chuckling. Neji turned his head sharply like a disdainful teenaged girl, and marched off. "I'll be waiting for your apology."
Gai shook his head as he watched him go off. Neji would never truly change, and Gai hoped his whole team stayed like they were forever. Other than becoming stronger, of course.
Well, that's it, I hope it's funny.....
