A/N: This is my first Kuroshitsuji fic. I do not own it. I had to get this idea out of my head.

He'd done many things for the queen in his time, but this had been one of the most fun, and ultimately futile. He'd done as Her Majesty had ordered, "get rid of" a few annoying nobles. However he had failed to have the little Phantomhive brat arrested, as she had implied she'd wanted. However that blood diamond businessman had been taken care of, so he hoped that Her Majesty would be pleased.

The long, wet way back to the royal palace had been far from pleasant, but he knew that he must report to Her Majesty at immediately so once the palace guards had recognized who he was, he'd been let through. His report had been concise, thorough, and completely accurate as it had happened. "So he pinned the murder on the diamond magnate Woodley. As far as I can tell, the boy truly believes it. He was quite determined to solve it you see, his butler, Sebastian Michaelis I believe his name was? Had been killed. The young early was quite upset at his loss." Earl Gray finished.

"When will his funeral be?" Queen Victoria asked.

"I believe that it will be in a few days. It was touching at how gentle the servants treated the man's corpse."

"How was he killed, you mentioned the other two, but the butler?"

"A blow to his head, followed by several strikes at his torso. Stabbed his heart clean through. A pity, the man was an exquisite chef, I could not stop myself from eating up every scrap of his food I could. There's not a trace of him left at that manor."

"Perhaps you should attend, Earl. You were at the manor when he died."

"Your Highness, I believe I would not be welcome there. After all, the boy should be able to openly grieve at the loss of his handpicked butler at least once? I'm afraid my presence will be…Detrimental to his mental health."
