When Kermit and Leap met as Kids:

Baby Kermit wore a sailor suit, and Baby Leap was wearing a red jacket along with a yellow shirt, blue jeans, and red shoes with white shoelaces and white trim.
Baby Kermit: Gee, it sure is nice today, isn't it, Leap?
Baby Leap: Sure is, Kerm!
Then Baby Leap tripped on a rock, and fell on the grass, hurting himself.
"LEAP!" Baby Kermit said in fear.
Baby Kermit said to Baby Leap, "Are you okay, Leap?"
Baby Leap started crying.
"Why are you crying?" Baby Kermit asked.
Baby Kermit looked at Baby Leap's leg, which answered his question. It had a bruise.
"Aww, your leg had a boo-boo!" Baby Kermit said sadly.
Baby Leap: Mm-hmm.
"Aww, don't cry, Leap, Kermit's here." Baby Kermit said calmly.
Baby Kermit hugged his friend then they went home.
Baby Kermit: Would you like me to put a band-aid on your leg?
Baby Leap: Mm-hmm.
Baby Kermit places a band-aid on Baby Leap's leg, easing the pain.
Baby Kermit sat right next to his friend.
And then Baby Leap's toe then healed.
After all, Kermit would always be there for him.
