Esme's thought when she first saw Bella.

I went into cleaning mood when Edward told me he be bring Bella by to meet Carlisle and I.

"Love, you don't need to clean, it already looks so clean."

I just looked at my husband, "That may be so, but I want make sure everything is perfect when Bella gets here."

"I'm sure things will Esme dear."

I nodded, as we finished up on the final touches before Bella got here. As it was within five minutes of Bella getting here, rose ran out of the house, followed by Emmet, Emmet looked sad, he wanted to stay and met Bella. But he knew he had to be with Rose to calm her down.

"I hope she come around."

"I'm sure she will."

Alice and Jasper were up stairs waiting.

As my husband and I waited, we could hear a truck coming up before it was even at the house. We could hear Edward speaking to Bella, and Bella speaking to Edward. But we didn't pay much to what they were saying though we could hear every word.

As we heard them heading up the stairs and Edward opened the door, to let Bella in first, I couldn't help but feel excitement to meet this young lady. I've been so worried Edward would always be alone.

As she walked, in, my husband and I decided to wait for the girl to notice us, as she was taking everything in. When she did notice us we stepped up to them.

"Bella, these are my parents, Dr, Carlisle Cullen and my mother Esme Cullen."

"It's nice to meet you Dr. Cullen."

"No no, just Carlisle please."

"Alright Calisle."

"Nice to meet you dear."

"You too Esme." I was amazed she didn't even flinch from our coldness; she must be already used to this.

"You have such a nice home."

"Thank you dear."

"Where is Alice and Jasper?" Edward asked.

"We're right here Edward," Alice said as her and Jasper came down the stairs.

We talked some, and I enjoyed how comfortable Bella is to our home already, we had decided to give Edward and Bella some time alone as we went upstairs to our rooms, though we could still hear everything they were saying.

"They seem nice, where is Rose and Emmet?" I heard Bella ask Edward.

"Emmet is out with Rose, most likely."

As Edward led Bella to his room and showed her around the house we headed back down stairs to the living room, to watch some tv.

As it started to get late, I could hear Edward leading Bella down the stairs.

I went to greet them when they got to the door as Edward was taking Bella home.

"It so nice to meet you dear, come by any time."

"Thank you Esme, it nice to meet you guys too."

Edward and Bella started to leave; I watched them go until they were out of sight and went back to my husband with a smile. "I'm glad he found someone at last."

"Yes I know love, I am too."

"We all are, besides for one," Alice said as her and Jasper joined us in the living room.

Edward came back hours later, "I'm so happy for you dear."

"Thank you Esme."

"You're welcome dear."

I hugged him and smiled.

I was just thinking today, that maybe a thought to what Esme thought when she first meets Bella was a good idea.
