Oh just quit it Prongs.

The thought ran through the mind on Remus Lupin on several occasions throughout everyday. Today he had been especially bad. Two words. JAMES POTTER. The boy with everything everyone else wanted. The looks, the brains...the girl. Beautiful Lily Evans with the striking red hair and smile that could light the Earth. Despite hating James for 6 years she grew to love his constant arrogance. Remus still remembered the day he found out.

Remus was sat in the large, exceedingly comfy chair by the warmth of the freshly lit fire. A crash and a bang indicated James had arrived. The common room became full of Peter Pettigrew caressing him with pleads of 'NOTICE ME' and Sirius Black making some bitchy yet friendly remark about his hair. Typically this just added to how vain he was getting. James strutted over to sit on the arm of the chair and patted Lupin on the head as though he were a dog. Wrong friend James, wrong friend. Lupin growled at him through wolfs teeth.

'Letting it out Moony?'

'Not at all Prongs - merely shocked you mixed your friends up'

'Well you need worry about that anymore. I have someone else to keep me occupied.

'Found yourself a new Snape have you?'

No, he's a very special cause. You know Evans? Of course you do. You look like a lovesick puppy whenever she's around. Well yeah, were officially TOGETHER.'

'Ummm, together...how?'

'You know EXACTLY what I mean. She finally fell for my charms and incredibly dashing looks.

'Don't flatter yourself'

Moony had died a little inside. James knew how much he liked Lily. Spineless pillock.

Remus was sat under the glorious Sun beside the boathouse reminiscing in what could have been. A board creaked and Lily gracefully sat down next to him.

'Hey Moony, how've you been?'

'Fine, I guess. Full moon soon though, sort of preparing myself.'

'You know I'm here if you need me'

She gently patted his shoulder with a feather light touch. Remus looked back and forth from her hand to her perfectly proportioned face. She slowly moved her faced towards him. Her lips gently brushed past his.

'I always loved you, Remus.'

They were passionately kissing, just holding eachother. They were in their own entire world. Just the two of them with no wonders or cares.

They were together.
