He shouted stunning spells one after another. He knew he had to keep on fighting, the whole wizarding world depended on him. But he couldn't move. He looked at the cage where the owl laid at the bottom. Tears ran from his eyes. Shouting /stupefy!/ everywhere. He was doing everything he could to keep on moving, but he couldn't. This death was different. Since three years earlier he has experienced death, the death of a student, the death of his godfather and closest thing to family, and the death of his headmaster. But nothing was like this, then he just wanted to keep on fighting, make them pay for what they did. But here, he just wanted to go, this was so different, this was the death of his companion. Of one of the most beautiful being he ever met. Hedwig was always there. Since day one. And now, she was gone. He couldn't breath. If it wasn't for Hagrid next to him, he couldn't afford losing him too, he would give up tight there. Everything was blurry, but her white feathers were still visible. Why was it like that? Why was an innocent creature being killed without a thought. Hedwig had been a best friend, a messenger, a connection, to everything he knew. But now, now she was gone. He opened his mouth to scream but nothing came out, he couldn't breath. But he had to, he had to keep on fighting so everyone. He helped Hagrid move, he did the best to fix the side car and he took off, looking back, at the falling cage with his once alive and beautiful white owl.
