The Real Love Is a Battlefield
"This isn't happiness Paige! It's a tempt game that's got you acting like a diva! Do you really think this job makes you happy, huh? Name one thing about this job that makes you happy!" Alex yelled at Paige. Paige went silent; she honestly didn't know what about it that made her happy. In fact it only stressed her out and made her angry.
"I…I don't know Alex" Paige said.
"See? It doesn't make you happy, what's more important to you Paige? This job or us?" Alex wasn't yelling anymore, she sounded desperate and had a scared look in her eyes.
Paige hesitated, Alex meant the world to her, and she didn't want to lose her. Paige looked over at Andrea; she was eyeing the girls like they were a pack of monkeys.
"That's what I thought." Alex turned around and started to walk away. Paige's head told her to stay put and let her walk, but her heart was screaming to run after her. She remembered how she made the mistake of not running after Alex when they first broke; she wasn't about to made that mistake again.
"Alex!" Paige dropped the binders she was holding and ran to her.
"You're right, I shouldn't have acted like that, but you're the greatest thing that's ever happened to me and I made the mistake of not running after once and I'm not gonna make that mistake again. I love you Alex."
Alex threw her arms around the blonde.
"Do you know how long I've waited to hear that?" She asked. Paige laughed and crushed her lips with Alex's. Alex pulled her closer until she heard someone behind her.
"Paige!"
Paige turned to face Andrea.
"Stop kissing that trash!" Andrea said.
"Andrea, I am sick and tired of you treating me like crap, this job is not worth anything and it's been pulling me away from what's most important, us." Paige wrapped her arm around Alex, "I quit"
Paige and Alex were about to leave when Paige turned around.
"Oh, and if you ever call her trash again I will beat the living shit out of you."
