The Dionysus cabin felt empty, as Pollux- one of the few living Dionysus kids, was the only one who stayed there.

Pollux was sat down on his bed, tears flowing down his face, as he was holding the last picture he and his brother had taken together before the battle a few years back. Pollux gripped the photo, he laughed humorlessly. It was funny how the original Castor had also died, but alas they were together forever as the original Pollux shared his immortality with Castor.

Sadly this Pollux wasn't immortal, he was just a stupid demigod, and all he could do was watch his brother die at the hands of another of his kind.

Pollux was angry, angry at the gods, angry at Kronos, angry at the demigods who had killed Castor, and mostly angry at himself. He could have saved his brother, if only he was strong enough!

Castor was the only friend Pollux had ever had, his best friend, and after his funeral, Pollux wanted to be with him again, he had considered it. But he had seen the look on his father's eyes, not wanting another of his children to die, and so he stayed, just for his father. But that weakness wasn't going to stop him again.
