I've been reading so much Peanuts this past few days that I have to get this drabble out of my head before I explode, so far it follows a bit like the strip, short, to the point and deliver a punch line, I'm still not sure how good it is at the end, but hopefully you guys like it, by the way, it is a Peppermint and good ol' Chuck fic, even if Linus is around.

Life Is

Linus was not a stranger to strange events, living in the place he was living was a very bizarre place by itself, they had everything going around, but at least he supposed it wasn't that bad.

Take for example baseball, the national sport, the thing they played since they were little kids, and for that they were very strange, the had fielders that did everything except making an out or even getting the ball at all (he knew about it, his own sister was the worst fielder in history), they had one of the greatest shortstop/second base in the minor leagues ever, too bad it was a dog; they had a catcher that couldn't throw the ball and instead walked to the pitch mount and even had the worst manager in existence, but it was also one guy who never gave up… and frankly their team was nothing to brag about.

So, with the story of their failure on top of them he saw his best friend walking back to the bench while Schroeder went up to bat; good ol' Charlie Brown had a weird expression on his face while walking closer to him and finally seating down.

"What's the matter Charlie Brown?"

"Oh… I don't know Linus, I have a very disturbing emotional fight going on inside of me" as his best friend, Linus had always been there (or at least, some times) whenever the blond boy had any trouble, be it talking in their usual brick wall or in their rooms.

"Want to talk about it?"

"Is just… I probably have the best female pitcher in the city as my girlfriend, and I'm proud, I'm happy, but… I just got strike out by that same girlfriend in three straight pitches; that is so lame, I mean, I feel happy, but, that was bad… I… I don't know" Charlie Brown said placing his head between his hands while Linus sighed at the sight.

"Life is as wishy-washy as yourself Charlie Brown" Linus said to close the topic.
