A/N: Sequel to His steamy dreams, read it! if you don't want to, simply read this, you'll understand anyway. This was a challenge, I wasn't planning on writing a sequel but it was requested and I always do as I am told. :) Here it is, FINISHED thank God since I lost my USB and thus, this piece also. I found it, by the way.

Summary: Sequel to "His steamy dreams". Roy Mustang likes to start his morning with a cup of coffee. But at night, Roy is visited by the steamy dreams. One would wonder if for example, just for argument's sake, one guest could have been, hypothetically of course, Edward Elric, how would one Mustang react? [RoyEd]

Coffee

Roy Mustang likes to start his morning with a cup of coffee. Dash of milk, no sugar. Preferably on a balcony in the warm sun.

People would agree and say, yes, Mustang starts his morning with coffee. People would also say that this cup of coffee is what makes him jolly in the morning. When Roy is in a mood, they say that he probably didn't have his daily cup of coffee. When this man, Roy Mustang, is in a mood, bad things happen and people definately notice the change.

Of course, that is partly true. Roy is happier with caffeine in his system, but that is absolutely not the reason he most usually is jolly. You see, there are many things that makes Roy happy.

Roy likes to boss people around. Fortunately, in his profession, he gets to do so a lot. Sometimes, he doesn't even need to voice the order. People will just... do what Roy is thinking. That's fabulous, he loves that. It... might even turn him on slightly...

On to a different subject...

Mustang also likes, albeit a bit more secretly, to imagine what it will be like when he is the Fürher. He would sit, stare off into the distance and dream of mini-skirts, alcoholic drinks before noon and people groveling at his feet, crawling around in the dust Roy would be sure to leave behind in his mad dash for sucess.

Enjoyable, yes, but that is still not what makes one Roy Mustang happy in the morning.

No, like many other people, he enjoys the guilty pleasures of the night. Yes, at night, Roy is visited by the steamy dreams.

There had been some... guest apperances in there that in a conscious state Roy would feel a bit ashamed of. Say for example, just for argument's sake, one guest could have been, hypothetically of course, Edward Elric.

Why would Roy be ashamed of such guest apperances, you ask?

Edward Elric is tiny and Roy does not like him. At all, in fact. And also, he imagined had the little shrimp been in the same siutaion, a.k.a having sexy dreams about... uh... well... it would scar him for life.

Roy, on the other hand, is a narcissist. Meaning in this case that anything that makes him feel good is acceptable, no matter how much his mind keeps telling him it's simply not polite to have someone else make indecent visits in his dreams doing more than raunchy things. Were this guest, for example the hypothetical Edward Elric, to learn of this private unconscious show, he would probably die from the excess embarrasment.

But in all honesty, Roy could care less about that. Pleased, he wakes up and supresses absolutely anything embarrassing/weird/unethical as long as it works for him.

Roy will admit to being somewhat self-centered at times.

Anyway, if people were to ask Roy what makes him happy in the morning, he would still answer coffee, even though he knows very well that's a lie.

His reasoning is quite fair in this matter however. Roy Mustang feels that coffee and Edward Elric evoke the same reaction, so it's unnecessary to explain any further than that.

Because after all, addictions are all the same.

A/N: ... I think I'm pleased with it. Yeah, I am. :) Care to agree or disagree? Review!
