Halo 4: Legendary Edition
Chapter 1
Silence… Nothing but silence… Then Cortana suddenly heard a loud explosion somewhere in the ship. Something was wrong.
Silence was all the Master Chief heard, and suddenly he heard an explosion and someone shouting: "Wake up, Chief. WAKE UP!" And then the Chief started stirring up. *FISSSSSSSS* Master Chief Kicked his pod open, then hastily grabbed Cortana's chip and started heading towards the source of the mess.
The Pious Inquisitor, one of the largest ships in the Covenant fleet (And the last one at that) was taking the remains of the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn by using a tractor beam. The Master Chief quickly grabbed a magnum that came floating out of nowhere and shot a recon drone, grabbed ammo for his magnum, reloaded his gun and stopped at the edge of the ship just to see the large tractor beam grabbing his ship.
"Cortana-"
"Already on it Chief, scanning… That ship, it's the Pious Inquisitor, the last remaining ship in the entire Covenant fleet.
"Not anymore. Let's go Cortana"
'Oh Whoopee, another adventure. Tell me what else is new" Cortana replied sarcastically.
The Master Chief chuckled, turned on his jetpack and started flying towards the Pious Inquisitor.
"Sir, Security in cargo bay detected one unidentified contact, undetermined if contact is hostile," said a Sangheili Zealot, one of the remaining elites that were still allied with the remnants of the Covenant Loyalists.
"Tighten security in cargo bay and open bay doors"
"Yes, sir"
The bay door opened, then a in a split-second faster than how fast you think the Master Chief had already dispatched 5 elites that were guarding the bay door, then he continued executing the remnants of the cargo bay security force.
