Valkyrie scrubbed some shampoo into her hair then rinsed it out.
"So, what are we going to do to Scapegrace today?" She asked as she started to rub a bar of soap onto her body.
"Actually," Skulduggery responded from the other side of the bathroom door, "I was thinking we would sneak into the Sanctuary and put cameras up so that we can watch all the funny stuff they do when we're not there."
Valkyrie laughed then dropped the soap.
"Oops," she muttered and reached to grab it but it slid away from her hand.
Valkyrie cursed then took a step to grab the soap but it moved right to where her foot was going to land and she stepped on it then slipped.
Skulduggery heard a loud thud followed a squeal.
"Valkyrie," he called, "what happened, are you okay?"
"I slipped, and I can't get up."
"What's wrong? Did you break a bone?"
"No."
"Sprain something?"
"No."
"Well why can't you get up?"
"Because I keep slipping whenever I try to get up."
"Oh, well what do I do?"
"I don't know, call Tanith or something."
"Okay.
Skulduggery walked back towards the kitchen as he heard loud squeal and took out his phone then dialed Tanith's number.
After a few rings her answering machine picked up and Skulduggery had to leave a message.
"Hi Tanith, this is Skulduggery and I'm over at Valkyrie's house and there is a erm, interesting problem here, look I'll explain when you get here. So please get here as fast as you can bye."
Skulduggery hung up then walked back down to the bathroom.
"This is not working," he heard Valkyrie say.
"Valkyrie?" he called.
"Skulduggery? What did Tanith say?"
"Um, she didn't pick up so I had to leave a message, do you know any other girls that you can call?"
Valkyrie was quiet for a moment, "what about China?"
Skulduggery hesitated, "do you think China will help?"
"Maybe, I can't think of any other girls to call."
"Okay."
Twenty Minutes Later…
"Okay Skulduggery, where's the book?" China asked walking over to Skulduggery who stood outside Valkyrie's bathroom.
"Oh that was a lie to get you over here. The real reason for you being here is that Valkyrie is stuck in the bath tub and she wants you to help. Also Tanith isn't picking up her phone otherwise I wouldn't have called you."
China was quiet for a moment then sighed. She walked into the bathroom and closed the door.
A few moments later he heard China squeal and a loud crash, then Valkyrie squeal.
"Everything okay?" Skulduggery asked.
"No, I'M stuck now," China said.
"Oh no. Um, do you want me to help?"
"NO!"
Skulduggery continued to call Tanith for the next few hours. Then he heard the front door open and slam. Tanith appeared.
"What's going on?" She asked.
"Valkyrie and China are stuck in the bathtub." He pointed at the door.
Tanith raised an eyebrow then walked into the bathroom.
He heard voices and then Valkyrie, wrapped in a towel, China and Tanith all walked out.
"That was the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me, we are never to speak of this again." Valkyrie said and walked off to her room.
"Agreed." Tanith and China walked off together leaving Skulduggery standing there alone.
