A clean slate.
His was a life untainted by any darkness, other than that of the deep, ominous black of the forest at night. In the loss of his mother, he found new warmth; in his father's absence, he found courage. He may just be the exact paragon of light (as he is to one person), just as he may be the exact replica of his father (perhaps he is even stronger). But even if he said those words -- "being a Hunter is so important... that family comes second" -- "being a Hunter... isn't for the weak" -- he still values family, still loves, still remembers. And he always makes sure to stop by.
A.N.: Un-betaed. I usually beta myself anyway... Well, it's pretty short. I basically took the different definitions of the title (tabula rasa) and "paired" them with the main HxH gang to come up with a short drabble of one paragraph. I was kinda bored so I decided to just post it. Guess who's next. ;)
