In the dark woods behind the city, there stood a mansion. A girl ran towards the tall building and opened the door. Everything grew dark until a loud laughter filled the room. The girl looked up to see a person wearing a black mask over her face. The other girl blinked a few times and asked. "W..Who are you?" The girl with the mask laughed again and placed her top hat back on her head. "I am the owner of this place. I see, have you come for your fortune?" The girl nodded softly and bowed gracefully. "Yes. Please give me my fortune." The other girl smirked and held out five cards in her fingers. "So, Lets play a card game. Oh, did I mention that I won't tell you my name?" The girl flinched as the other girl rubbed her finger on her cheek. "Also, I don't need to know your name. Just call me Joker." A single laugh escaped her lips as the other girl nodded. "Y…Yes."
The two girls sat down and the cards moved around on their own. The girl's face looked shocked as she said. "Wow…" Joker smirked and stated. "Do you know my rules?" The girl shook her head. "No, I'm sorry. Yet, I feel like I need to tell you my name. I'm Rin." Joker frowned and continued. "Anyways…True love is only for fools. If you want Len to love you, you can't pick up the Joker card." Rin bit her lip softly and pointed to the middle card. Joker began to pout as the card rose to the air, it was the Joker card. Rin jumped out of her seat and began to scream. "No!" Joker placed her chin in her palm and the cards slid back up her arm warmers. "You can't take it back, for now my cards are into play." Rin felt weak and called out. "Joker!" Her eyes twitched and Rin fell to the floor. Joker stood up and glared at the pathetic girl. "Hey? Give me that." She stated. Rin's eyes grew blank and her heart flew to Joker as she whispered one last time. "Joker…" Joker began to laugh hysterically.
Joker took hold of her hands and led her to the other world. Rin had an expression-less look on her face as Joker showed her around. "This is a new world to you. The forests here are dead." She landed on the roof and helped Rin land. "Good bye." Rin didn't reply and Joker returned to the normal world. She was angry that Rin wouldn't plead to her. Joker placed Rin's body on the couch and returned her heart, a sly smirk on her face as Rin's flesh turned its peachy color. Joker took out a knife and held the knife above her head, but hesitated when her words filled her mind. Joker… Joker! She lunged the knife at Rin and the girl whispered. "…Joker…" She stopped the knife and fell to her knees. The knife fell from Joker's hand and landed on the floor. Rin removed the mask from Joker's face to reveal the close cousin she had. "R…Rui?" The black haired girl felt tears form in her eyes as she helped Rin up. "I…I'm so sorry!" She cried out. Rin rubbed her head softly. "It's ok, Rui. Let's escape this cursed place." Rui felt a smile form on her face as she nodded. "Yes!" The two escaped the dark mansion and left everything behind…well almost~
