Challenge six for His Most Faithful Forum, this time hundred words featuring Hagrid and Madam Maxime. I really do not plan to write Hagrid again, but here we go.

It was colder than it should have been in the midst of summer as he and Olympe trekked on. Night after night they walked, using little magic. It was not a big inconvenience to him. It must have been for her. To Hagrid, it meant something that she put away her wand for the sake of what they aimed to do.

It was just another chilly night curled into a tight ball to keep himself warm. His beady eyes flicked to Olympe's sleeping figure.

If only she would agree, he had an idea about how to keep them both warm.
