Strong language, my attempt at humor :)
Laufey sat in his silver thrown room waiting for the return of his sons, he had sent them out to find and kill Fumo, the dragon of Muspelheim that had found its way to Jotunheim. Loki, Helblindi and Býleistr had been told to kill him several days ago but they had still not returned and Laufey had begun to worry. The Jotun king was disturbed from his thoughts by his wife as she walked up to his thrown.
"Laufey, you need not worry about our children." Farbauti spoke softly
"Yes but I still do, all of them so inexperienced to a real battle, Býleistr is still so young."
"Býleistr is old enough, if he has managed to survive Loki's tricks and Helblindi's fussing all of these years he can handle himself against a mere dragon." Laufey smiled, in his head he knew not to doubt his children but in his heart he feared for their lives. Laufey opened his mouth to voice his concerns but he stopped himself when he heard the sound of hooves on the floor.
"Father, Mother." The three teens greeted simultaneously laughing.
"My sons!" Farbauti sang hugging them in turn.
"Did you kill Fumo?" Laufey asked
"Yes father," Helblindi replied
"But we melted half of Jotunheim in the process." Loki laughed
"You what!" Laufey shouted
"Well after By' stabbed it in the eye it was kinda pissed." Helblindi laughed
"Mind your fucking language!" Laufey snapped hitting Helblindi on the back of his head.
"Any way it was blindly spitting fire everywhere, something was bound to melt." Býleistr snickered
"Melt? How can Jotunheim melt?" Laufey fumed
"Well it is the realm of ice, it's bound to have some draw backs ," Loki laughed at his father's expression as he raised his hand to hit Loki.
"Laufey if you hit another one of our children I will divorce you!" Farbauti stated. Laufey rolled his eyes and dropped his hand
"On the bright side we get excellent snow days." Loki said as Laufey raised his hand once more.
"I divorce you!" Farbauti repeated again. Laufey put down his hand
"I guess you win, My Dear" He smiled
"Do I?" she half whispered as she walked out of the room
"Under the thumb!" Loki coughed
In the end Laufey and Farbauti got a divorce.
Farbauti got full custardy of the children
Laufey was relieved.
