Beginning of a Legend
"What do you want from me!" Wave shouted at the creatures before her. They said nothing nor made a sound. The creatures had no profound shape, they kept on sifting from one figure to another, some familiar, others not so much. They started to advance.
"Get away from me!" she shouted backing up. They advanced closer.
"I'm warning you!" Still closer.
"Go Away!" One pounced.
"Ahhhhhhhh!"
A scream of pain was heard next, but it wasn't hers. She looked at the creature that was on the floor dead. Standing right next to it was a man in a black coat that reached down to his ankles. His hood was up and a mask concealed his face. His right arm looked like it had been burned, but where the hand was suppose to be, there was a claw glowing red.
He turned and rushed into the crowd of viscous creatures. The one in front pounced. The man clenched his claw and thrust it forward with such force that the creature flew back fifty feet, and wasn't even hit.
The second advanced swiftly, but the man thrust his claw into the beast's chest, killing it instantly.
And for the third, the man picked it up and choked it to death.
The forth was sneaking up behind him. Catching the movement, he turned and a ball of fire appeared in his claw. He took aim and fired, hitting the creature in the face, incinerating it.
Wave wached the whole thing in awe "What was that?" she asked. The man ignored her and turned to leave. "Wait at least tell me your name!"
The man looked back "My name is of no Importance" he said in a dark voice.
"You have to! You can't just save me then walk away!"
He turned his head forward again "Leviathan" He said as he started to walk off.
"Who is this guy?" Wave said under her breath.
And she could have sworn that she saw a glimpse of two tails under the coat.
