Title: Nobody Needs to Know

Genre: Fluff

Summary: Garcia writes fanfiction. She'll never tell.

Penelope sighed a little as she tapped away on her keyboard. LJ was Iso/I dead today. None of her favorite authors were posting, nothing new on the communities, and even her faithful flist was failing her. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal, but the entire team was on leave and she was stuck updating files, a task that took time but not that much attention. Even the Pit of Voles was failing to amuse today, and if she got caught gaming at work again the results would undoubtedly be unpleasant.

That left only one option, her secret guilty pleasure that she hadn't had the time or energy to partake of in far too long. She opened up a word document and started typing.

She'd been toying with the idea for a while, especially because she had found herself straddling the fence in the fandom for a long time. Penelope had never been able to decide between Dean and Sam, and she didn't really see the incest that the slash fans were always going on about. She liked to write stories about both of them being brothers and fighting creatures, but sometimes it felt like she was alone in that desire. It looked like now she had the opportunity to start a long, plotty, gen casefic, and she was looking forward to that chance.

The time passed much more quickly once she got into the groove, stopping only when her computer prompted her to select a new batch of files to upload to the main server. By the time she was done with that day's assigned tasks, she had seven thousand words, astounding for a drought this long.

She saved the file onto the hard-drive of her laptop and closed up shop for the evening. Kevin was busy with his own tasks and JJ had gone off with Will and Henry for a long-needed vacation. Penelope was planning on getting another ten thousand words written this weekend before she sent it off to her beta.
