Santana remembered all the hate in her Abuela's voice. She remembered the conversation they had. How Santana sat there for about 15 minutes weeping.

"I'm the same person I was a minute ago!" Santana had shouted. But her grandmother just walked away. She told her to get out of her house. Why didn't her own grandmother accept her?

Santana sat at the steps of school. She knew who she was. Maybe coming out was a bad idea. That stupid jerk in the hallway. He said she wasn't normal. Sure, the glee girls defended her. But she wouldn't always have them. The cold winter wind blew in her direction, making her cheeks freeze. Maybe it was the wind that distracted her from her crying. She didn't even hear Puck walk up behind her.

"Hi." He greeted.

No reply.

"Santana, this is who you are."

Santana didn't reply but remembered Finn's words from the other day.

"We celebrate it, because it's who you are."

"What do you want, Puckerman?"

Puck sighed. "I want you to be happy. I thought you were? Then I come find you sulking outside."

No reply.

"You're Santana. You can be, and do anything."

No reply.

"I love you, San. You're like, my sister. I know Brittany loves you."

No reply.

"Keep hangin' on, San." Puck said as he got up and walked away.

Santana sat on the steps playing around with her fingers. She hurt more footsteps. Great. Another person to tell me how freakin' special I am. Santana expected Brittany, Berry, even Fabray. Hell, she expected maybe Kurt.

It wasn't Kurt. It wasn't Brittany. It wasn't Berry or Fabray.

It was Blaine.

He didn't say anything he just sat down next to Santana.

Finally Santana spoke. "What do you want, hobbit?"

"I thought you were done fighting." He said staring at the nearest tree.

"I am."

Silence.

"It gets better."

"When."

"When you finally 100% accept yourself. Who cares what other people think? You are you, Santana. Why hide that?"

Santana listened respectfully. "I know who I am."

"Show us. Glee club never judges anyone as Kurt's told me. What are you so afraid of?"

"Nothing, I guess."

"Go get your girl." Blaine said with a smile.

Santana stood up with Blaine. "Thank you….Blaine." She awkwardly hugged him but then melted into the hug. She felt the tears again but this time, they weren't because she felted betrayed, or unaccepted. It was because she was happy.

Once Blaine caught up with Kurt in the parking lot, Santana found Brittany in the gym, sitting in the bleachers. "Hi." Santana said, almost a whisper.

"Hi." Brittany said back.

They sat silently for a little bit. "Do you remember….w-when I sung you Songbird?" Santana asked.

Brittany nodded. "Yeah." She gave a small smile and grabbed Santana hand.

Santana leaned her head on Brittany's shoulder like she used to. "You'll always be my girlfriend, right Brittany?"

Brittany smiled got wider. "Yeah. You're my best friend."

"You're mine too."
