The night was stormy, the rain was pelting down at a ferocious rate. Black/grey clouds covered the sky and frequent bolts of lightening burst through, loud, rumbling thunder following. The electricity on the block had gone out and everyone was living in darkness.
Willow looked out of her window into the pouring rain. It was then that she saw a figure in the distance, running towards her house. She strained her eyes to see who this mysterious person was. She blinked and lost sight of them. Then a loud knock came and she slowly approached the front door. She quickly opened it and the figure ran in. From what she could tell it was a male. He took off his coat and shook his hair. She knew instantly who it was.
"Xander…What the hell are you doing here?"
"I came to borrow some sugar."
Willow looked at Xander with an odd gaze. He was clearly being sarcastic but she couldn't be mad with him, she just laughed. She took him into the sitting room and they sat by the open fire. Xander began to shiver and Willow noticed this.
"Darling, want a blanket?"
"I'm not a puff, I'll be fine."
She gave him one of those looks and he nodded. She got up and he grabbed her ankle.
"Thank-you Willow."
"Anything for you."
They smiled at each other for a moment. A strange sensation ran through them both but they decided to ignore this. Willow came back in a matter of minutes and wrapped up the frozen Xander.
"What ever possessed you to come out in this weather?"
"I was bored and my tv wasn't working so I thought I'd come and visit."
"Nice, I come second best to a television set."
"Naturally."
They both laughed silently, gazing into the flames. An hour passed and they talked about how their days at work had gone and how they would rather be somewhere else. By this time they were both laying on their fronts, staring at the blank tv screen.
"This is a good show."
"Aye it is."
They grinned.
Xander put one arm around his friend. She looked up and over at him, using her facial expression to question his motives. Then she was caught. His beautiful brown eyes trapped her, she could not look away. They reminded her of melting chocolate and she so very much would have loved to look at them forever.
"Erm, Willow, what are you doing."
Typical Xander to ruin the moment. She snapped out of her stare and did not answer. She sat up and he copied her movements. He moved closer to her and placed one of his soft hands on her white cheek. He moved her head so that it was in line with his. He trapped her again and she in turn trapped him.
Before they knew what was happening their lips touched and a great heat rushed through them. They stopped, only for a second and pulled each other back. Their bodies collided together and their urges took hold.
Willow grabbed Xander's hand and led him upstairs. They couldn't stop their feelings now, they'd already come this far. They got to her room in an instant and Xander pushed her down. She held him close to her and they kissed again, more rushed, more passion. They took each other's clothes off, resulting in Xander's shirt being torn. But he didn't care about this.
For a moment they stopped. They looked at each other once more. Then it happened. He went slowly, their breathing steady. Willow ran her fingers through Xander's hair, noticing how soft it felt. They kept holding each other close, not daring to let go. They didn't want this moment to stop. He then went a little quicker, their breathing altered.
"Willow." Xander managed to say.
"Yes…"
"I love you."
"I love you to."
Then the romance and passion took over. He became faster, rougher, gave it more meaning. She breathed heavy, wrapping her hands around his strong arms. This lasted for many hours…
