Candles flicker in the darkness of the graveyard, the grave lit with a soft glow.

Red roses are positioned in front of her gravestone.

Her name etched in curly writing, "Jenifer Shepherd" and below a message etched in bold, "A beautiful woman taken before her time. She will be forever in our hearts, never forgotten."

A Man kneels down, gently placing a letter beside the roses, as a tear trickles down his cheek, uncharacteristically vulnerable. His fingertips softly brush across her name, as he whispers into the night, "I love you Jen"

The letter read;

"Dear Jen,

I know that you will never have the chance to read the words I write, or hear the words I say, but sometimes the words need to be said. I love you, and I know it's too late for us but my love you will never die. I love you Jen, with all my heart and soul, and always will. I wish I had known why you left me, and I wish that we could've had another chance. I want you back in my arms, I need you, and I would give everything to have you back.

I love you with all my heart, Semper Fi, forever and always

Jethro"

He stood and walked slowly away, although he never wanted to leave her side, he knew, he had his team to look after.
