Hi guys, so here's my second story, First Glance. Inspired by my lovely friend, xxDeadInsidexx. I decided to take a second person view on Draco's first (unofficial) meeting with Hermione. I'm looking to expand it in the very near future, just hoping to hear some feedback. Don't forget to favorite this story to follow along with the updates! Thank you!

Your name is Draco Lucius Malfoy. After parting with your parents and entering the Hogwarts Express, you try to find a compartment. You think of how excited you were months ago, knowing that you would make your parents proud at school, in their house, Slytherin, of course. In the back of your mind, you think of when you'll be able to be on their Quidditch team, winning the Quidditch cup, and bringing it home to your father would be so proud of you, like always, boasting about you to his friends from work.

While you think of this, you bump into her. Her brown eyes remind you of autumn and how warm you felt when your mother held you by the fireplace when you were little. She smiles slightly, apologizing, mentioning something about finding a toad, and you move out of her way. You watch her leave and you feel almost stunned. You wish you said something, but you can barely think."Who is she?" You ask yourself. You've never seen her before. You guess she might be from somewhere else in the U.K., maybe France since you knew most of the students in your year.

You watch her hustle down the corridor and into a compartment, and you turn to leave. "Where was I again? Oh yes." You start going over how you'll excel in classes and how popular you'll be. Your smile is back as you motion to the group of boys, all friends you've made during the past summers, who are talking in the corridor. "Draco! Come on, we've thought you got left behind at the station!" says the boy you remember from last summer. What was his name again? Blake? "Coming!" You hurry your pace and catch up to them. Your friends recall their summers spent at the lake and all of the "accidental" magic done. You smile, and you silently thank your father he didn't send you to Dumstrang like he planned on.

Your smile turns to a smirk, and you can already tell this will be an interesting year, especially with the girl from the corridor.
