Starry Skies

A/N: I went to Toys 'R' Us today, and I got 2 Mew's. One for Firered, the other for Leafgreen. I began playing on my GL when I got an idea for a Mew POV. Please review! Also, criticism is very imprortant here!
Mew, the very word makes a trainer happy. Knowing that they finally caught something that can learn any move, and defeat anyone. Knowing that the power really is in their hand.
Before humans invaded our land, the world of Pokemon was a bright and cheery place. A place full of fun and entertainment. But now, it's a place full of dread and misory.
Before they came, my people, the Mew's, thrived all over Kanto. Then the trainers came along, and they caught us. Deprived of our freedom, my people died out. The humans didn't know that without our freedom, the Mew would die as early as a year. There were hundreds of Mew's, but as the years progressed, our people's race shortened.
Then poachers caught us, and killed us for our fur. Some who were caught were used for expriments, and died rather quickly than planned. Mew's may be powerful, but without freedom and friends, we are nothing. Those expriments the poachers performed on us also helped destory my people. Thanks to them, I am the only Mew left.
I am alone.
Because of this reason, I sit here tonight. My eyes twinkle with delight as the bright, golden stars sparkle in the darkness of the night. It's wrapped in a blanket of beauty, and warmth.
Mew's were born under this same sky, and it's not something these humans can take away from us. They've already taken away everything else from me, even my freedom.
But surprisingly, my lifespan is long. Through the many years that I've been kept alive, I am thankful for this night. The night that the humans came and killed my people. The night that they were deprived of their freedom. The very same night where I became alone.
But as the stars shine ever so brightly, I do not care. After all, they are my starry skies.
