"Hey Jeanne?" Brock sat across the room on the couch behind me.
"Yes Brock?" My chair squeaked as I turned to look at him. His had a curious look on his face, almost as if he had swallowed a lemon.
"Why do I idolize her?"
"Because," I explained, "That's one of your character traits, you idolize people you like. You fight with her, because you like her and you're not sure what else to do since you think she hates you."
"Well then why is she a mary sue?"
"She's not," at this Brock gave me a condescending look.
"She's not a mary sue," I tried again, "Because in the very last scene of the Berry Challenge, which I have already written, the two of you get into an argument and we see that she is not a mary sue, you just idolize her to the point where she sounds like a mary sue."
"Why haven't you mentioned her name?"
"Initially it was because I didn't know what her name was going to be. As I continued writing and decided on a name for her, I decided to continue referring to her as her, in hopes that anyone reading would stick around for the reveal of the name of my OC for you."
"Whose Ivan?"
"Ivan is another OC I made. He's your best friend, and a mutual friend of her. His purpose isn't that important for any future stories."
"Excuse me," she interjected from where she sat next to the dog, "But when are you going to update the Berry Challenge. You can't put a link up until you finish, and you initially wanted the story to be six chapters."
"The problem," I explained, "Is that Brock is now injured, and that will have to add at least one more chapter, or a really long chapter. You're fight with Brock is going to be part of it's own chapter, and then I need to work on the general Prompts. All in all, it will take a while. There's also the fact that I don't know what to write for the Third Day. I want team rocket to show up, but they don't really have a place in the story since they typically follow Ash."
"Why," Brock started, "Did I take pokemon with me if I'm not going to use them."
"You are," I replied, "I won't say when, but I have a plan for when you're going to use your pokemon."
"Why do I have telepathic pokemon?" She asked.
"You're the leader of an unofficial gym which doesn't see many challengers. You need someone to keep you company."
"Which pokemon are in my complete team?" She asked.
"Oh, that's easy," Brock said. "You have lucario, espeon, girafarig, and gardevoir. You want pokemon that have the potential for telepathy, which is the culminating factor of all of your pokemon."
"Thank you," I said before getting back to writing. Hopefully the next chapter will be better.
