As you all know, love doesn't last forever. Though a lot of people don't agree with that until their relationship falls apart. That happened with the couple Lightning and Sally. They met romantically in Route 66 by accident and that was how they fell in love. They've been dating for practically a year. We'll last forever. They thought. But little stupid problems always make people change their minds.
People don't know why, but couples always fight for stupid reasons. Lightning and Sally got in a stupid fight. She kept saying Lightning was a bad boyfriend. That day, Sally yelled at him that they're through. The ex couple were mad and not talking to each other for several weeks.
One day, it was the 2nd anniversary of when Sally first came to the town. Everyone wanted to celebrate. Sally decided to call some old friends and family. The town was filled with so many people. Sally's cousin, Carry came too. And she brought one of her friends, Jamie.
On the radio, Lightning and Sally's song was playing. This made Sally sad. She decided to apologize to Lightning. Looking around everywhere, Sally was searching for Lightning. Suddenly, she saw the most backstabbing thing ever. She actually saw Lightning kissing Jamie. She gasped as tears slowly flowed down her cheeks. She ran out of the whole party and went into the motel and slammed the door shut and locked it. She just stood there trying not to believe what just happened. She slowly sat down on the floor holding her knees. Sobbing and crying and wiping her tears on her dress, Sally wept and wept until the hours went by.
After the whole party, Lightning was in his room too, not even going to Sally. He locked the door and plopped on the bed. He was thinking about what he just did at the party. His cell phone suddenly rang. The ID said Sally. He didn't want to hear Sally annoying him, but he sat up and picked up the phone. "Hello?"
"What the hell Lightning??" Sally said pretending she wasn't just crying. "How could you kiss her? Do you want to hook up with her?"
Lightning didn't answer.
"Do you?" she asked again. He wasn't answering. "Lightning answer me!!"
"Why do you even care?" Lightning asked annoyed. "Why are you even talking to me? You're the one who broke up with me."
"I know! But do you want to hook up with her?" Sally said silently crying.
"YES!" Now Lightning was pretty pissed off. "Ok?? I'm hooking up with her!"
Sally hesitated. "Do you think she's pretty?"
"HELL no. She's fucking ugly." Lightning admitted. "I only kissed her because you practically kissed every guy in town."
"I did not!" Sally yelled now sobbing loudly. She a Lightning were arguing for too long. After awhile, Lightning has had enough.
"SALLY! STOP IT NOW! YOU broke up with ME! Now just leave me alone!" Lightning hung up.
Millions and millions of tears streaming down her face.

Sally throw her phone on the ground and laid back on the bed and cried. She held her necklace around her neck. It was half a heart that said Lightning. She took it off and threw it in her closet.
I thought that from this heartache, I could escape
But I fronted long enough to know
