"Meow," called a sugary sweet voice behind him. "Wally, why are you so quiet?"
A smile crossed his lips as he heard Millianna speak to him. "I'm just dandy, Millia. I am thinking about something very important."
"And what is that?" she asked, moving so she could talk with him face to face.
Wally chuckled. "I was wondering if there was anything in the world more beautiful than you, kitty-cat."
She blushed and made a small noise that only vaguely resembled a cat's purr, although he had never had the heart to tell her that. "Thanks, Wally."
He gently raised one finger to stroke her cheek. "And a pretty face deserves a pretty pet, does it not?"
Millianna looked up at him with adorably confused eyes. "What do you mean?"
He held out his arms in answer. Shielded from her eyes before was a little brown kitten with dark eyes. "What do you think? Dandy, isn't he?"
The petite mage squealed and grabbed the tiny kitten, hugging it tightly and rubbing her cheek against its downy fur. "He's so adorable, Wally!"
He laughed quietly at the sight of her. Wally didn't want more than seeing his sweetheart happy. When he made that smile spread across her pretty face, he always felt like a million bucks. No, maybe more like two million, he corrected himself. "What will you name him?"
"Simon," she replied firmly. "It even looks like him!"
He stared at her in a bit of confusion. "So you think Simon was cute?" Wally asked.
Millianna sighed sadly. "Not as cute as the kitten. But I miss him; he was a good friend to all of us."
Wally nodded. "Simon was a good man. I think it's rather dandy that you're naming your kitten after him."
She gave a little meow. "Thank you so much for my very own neko-chan," Millianna told him with a sweet smile.
"You're very welco-," he started before she hushed his words with her lips. Wally's eyes widened in shock at first, but he eventually relaxed enough to enjoy her soft kiss.
"I love you," she whispered. "I always have."
"I love you too," Wally replied. "I've always thought we belonged together, sweetheart."
Okay, so this was my (very short) Wally and Millianna oneshot! I really love this pairing. In one of the episodes of the anime, there is a flashback to when they were all children. Hearts are shown when Wally looks at her, which leads me to believe that he had a crush on her. Therefore, I needed to write a story about them together. I hope you liked!
