Kendrix's Death: A Remake

(This story starts when both Psycho Pink and the two Pink Rangers find the Wild Sword in Episode 31 of Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. Enjoy!)

As Psycho Pink yanked the Wild Sword out of the rock, Cassie and Kendrix ran towards her, trying to get it away from her.

"Stop! It's too powerful for even you or Trakeena to handle!" Cassie exclaimed. Psycho Pink ignored her and slashed her twice with the sword. Cassie fell to the dry ground, demorphing as she did so.

"How dare you?!" Kendrix cried as she pulled out her Quasar Saber. Psycho Pink laughed. "Like that scares me." The sword in her hand rippled and the sword turned into a thick sword, sparkling lightly with pink. "This sword grows more powerful with each blow!"

On that note, Kendrix looked discouraged and stood where she was for a second, momentarily distracted by the Psycho's words. In that moment, Psycho Pink leaped into the air and brought the Wild Sword down on the Pink Ranger's shoulder. She too collapsed, but unlike Cassie, she was unconscious, and blood was pooling from her shoulder, bright and scarlet on the dusty ground.

"Maybe this will give me even more power!" Psycho Pink laughed, advancing on the unconscious Kendrix. "No!" Cassie whimpered, reaching forward to grab her foe's leg, but she wasn't fast enough.

Kendrix finally came to her senses a few seconds later, but by then, Psycho Pink was upon her. She screamed, but Psycho Pink silenced her by slamming the sword down onto her head. Kendrix cried out in pain and her opponent was enjoying the pain- physically and emotionally- that she was bringing to the two Pink Rangers and the pleasure it brought herself. Kendrix now appeared to have a large gash on her head that dripped blood into her eyes, blinding her.

"Oh no," Cassie murmured. "Kendrix!" she called.

Kendrix blinked and shook her head fiercely to clear the blood from her eyes. But again, Psycho Pink wasted no time in attacking her once more. The sword plunged down once again. Kendrix tried to move out of the way, but as she did, it tore another gash in her neck. She gasped and cried out, tears forming in her eyes as she writhed around in great pain.

"Kendrix, no!" It was Leo. The Lost Galaxy and Astro Rangers were running toward them quickly. Psycho Pink noticed too and glared back at them.

"You will never see your precious pink princess again!" she spat, looking down at the helpless Kendrix. She lifted the sword again. From far away, Maya ran faster. Kendrix was her best friend and she didn't want to lose her!

Time seemed to slow down as the Psycho once again thrust the sword into Kendrix's neck. Blood spilled out of the new wound, soaking the tough ground. Maya's mouth opened in a silent scream of horror as she ran closer to her friend. Psycho Pink pulled the sword away, the end of the silver blade dripping with the Pink Ranger's blood. She turned to the others.

"This will become your fate too if you try to stop me!" she hissed as she disappeared in a burst of pink mist.

Maya ran over to her bleeding friend and shook her gently. But the light was leaving Kendrix's eyes, replaced with the dark sky above them.

"NO!" Maya lifted Kendrix's cold body into her arms, blood beginning to cover her hands as Leo and the others ran over.

Leo gently took Kendrix from Maya and Maya began to cry. She had lost her best friend. Soon, they all left Planet Rashon to go back to Terra Venture, after giving Kendrix a short burial and funeral on the smooth planet.

But later, at night, Maya went back. Down on the ground of Planet Rashon, she mourned for her friend, sobbing her heart out as she lay on her back next to Kendrix's grave.

"I will miss you, my brave Kendrix."
