Five, Seven, Five

Pawns and rooks and kings,
The board was set before him.
He reached out an arm.

She watched him fly high.
How long until her boy falls,
And cannot return?

The silent soldier
Heard his little brother's voice.
The thick ice melted.

I can save the world,
Take away the corruption,
Whatever the cost.

His world was breaking,
The darkness, blind and angry,
Devoured him whole.

My troublesome son
Has run away with the king.
When will they grow up?

Galaxy of stars.
