Beck could see that Jade was upset. He knew she was having a rough week. They had a fight on Monday and she had not reacted the way he expected her to. Sure she listened but she didn't seem to get past it so easily. They made up but something was still bothering her. He knew his girlfriend well enough that he could tell this wasn't about Monday. It was about... he didn't know what it was about but he had to do something to make it right.

"Well really do you blame her for being upset," Cat asked, "You were kind of insensitive"
"Yes," Beck said, "I honestly didn't think about it. It seemed like the right way to act at the time and I knew she went through a tough time but I thought this would push her toward moving foward quicker."
"Beck," Cat said, "You have to talk with her; not at her but with her."
"I will," Beck replied, "But I need to do something first."
"Like what?"
"Something special"

2 Beck: I am NOT going into that room
2 Jade: I'll pick a different room. How about the suit at the Mariotte Hotel
2 Beck: K. :-D
2 Jade: I 3 you
2 Beck: Do u really mean that
2 Jade: U'll c in a few minutes. I got a gift 4 u.

Jade came into the room. Beck kissed her and handed her a giftwrapped package. It was large.
"What's in there," she asked.
"You'd never believe me if I told you. Open it up"
Inside was the orignal scissors from the movie EDWARD SCISSORHANDS. It was the scissors that were used as his hands.
