Summary: A promise is a promise, and I was expected to keep those. However, I just couldn't keep it any longer, since you kept me waiting.

I loved you. I honestly did, but you left me and kept me waiting. Those three days close to the world ending, I received a letter from you, promising you would return. I had faith in you that you would do well to keep that promise. Mother was right. I shouldn't have gotten engaged to you or even thought of marriage.
The world was coming to an end, or so said the villagers. But you did not come, you hid. And hid, and did not come out.
But he came to my aid, to help me and make sure I was safe. He stayed with me long past mid-night and long past the hours after, until mother returned. He had only disappeared for an hour, but returned shortly.
I would not care about your form, your size, or anything. Oh, my Kafei, I once loved you so. But now, he is here for me. Thank you for staying with me up until you left, like a failed trip to Wonderland.
But Link is here now, for me and for the citizens here in Clock Town, unlike you. I must say good bye now and forget about you, but fear not. You'll always be there. In my heart. Forever.

Random, I know.
