Gospel of Sam to the People of Richmond

1

I, your friend and teacher Sam, wielder of Earth and disciple of Samson of Fire, give unto you a record of all that occurred after the events of June 15th.

This record, I assure you, is truthful and unbiased, and is only the absolute and dire facts of the matter.

Following the decision made by the gathering of disciples, Gareth the Fire-Master, who was once the greatest of the Light's servants, struck by his own fierce ego, left the other followers of Seamus.

From Boston, Gareth and his followers made their way north, and came to the region called Maine.

Here also gathered Sylvia of Wood and her followers, who included the mighty Zeke.

On the border of Maine the two groups did encounter each other, and there stood off, for although Gareth's forces outnumbered those of Sylvia he was wary of attacking his own former friends.

And Sylvia spoke: "Gareth, though I shall allow you to pass peacefully, you must vow to never return.

"For your presence, it would seem, causes division and inequality amongst us."

Gareth then grew angry, and with a mighty burst of flame hurled back Sylvia and the others, and with a single sweep slew Connor of Earth and wounded Sylvia.

So Gareth and his minions passed, leaving their former comrades to die.

But what Gareth failed to realize was that Sylvia and her friend Zeke were masters of Earth, and thus healers.

Soon both they and Thomas of Water, Sylvia's other follower, were fit, and they grieved for the loss of Connor.

But Gareth and his follows had already left, and fled to the region of Nova Scotia, where they built their new base, which is called Gehenna.
