It was a beautiful spring day. Hermione couldn't believe it, but she was on a date with Severus Snape, her potions professor. She had convinced him that the muggle world is a best place to do whatever they wanted due to the fact that no one would recognize them, but still he wasn't so comfortable with the idea of the two of them out in public, but Hermione reassured him that it was only a casual trip, not a public display of their relationship.

They were not sitting on a bench a park nearby Hermione's hometown. He had been sweet and offered to buy her ice cream when they passed the ice cream stand. However, they were not eating the ice cream surrounded by an awkward silence. Once Hermione finished her ice cream, she looked to her left and saw that her professor had ice cream dripping down his chin.

"Professor, who knew you'd be so clumsy," she said with a giggle. She took her handkerchief out from her pockets and carefully dabbed it on to his chi.

"Ah, Hermione, thank you for taking care of this old man," her professor said suddenly which shocked Hermione.

"Don't refer to yourself as such!" Hermione said defiantly, and wrapped her arms tightly around his waist.

"Hermione!" He scolded in a hushed voice, his body stiffened, although he made no attempt to push her away.

"Professor, don't ever leave me!" Hermione, however, shouted back. Her eyes were closed and all she could think about was the day he would leave her for someone more beautiful, more graceful… More mature.

Severus looked at the girl, his eyes full of love, and expression softened, and he wrapped his arms around her shoulder for reassurance. "Don't worry, Hermione, I'll always be right here."
