"Ugh, this is awkward."
"Definitely."
You struggled to get out of the bonds that tied you and the blond Cavallone boss to two back-to-back flimsy wooden chairs in what had got to be the darkest room ever.
"I think the knot's on your side of the rope, Dino. Could you try and do something to untie it?"
"I'll try, (y/n)."
You heard a grunt as he bent his head down to bite the end of the rope and tug. A jerking movement vibrated through your connected chairs, and you soon heard a "Crack" from one of the chair legs as Dino continued his struggle for freedom.
Your arms were getting numb, so you told your fellow captive, "Hurry up, would you, Dino?"
"I'm trying!"
But seeing as there was no one else in the room - at least, no one from the Cavallone family, or else they would've shouted "Boss!" and ran over to assist - Dino was utterly useless in this situation. And SOMEHOW, the klutz managed to snap off four chair legs - two from the left side of his, and two from the right side of yours. Which then resulted in him falling out of the chair, which dragged you down with him, and Dino somehow twisted himself to face you, being the clumsy person he was.
So now you two had fallen out of the chairs, now toppled over, with four legs snapped off, the rope STILL bound, Dino on his back on the floor, and you lying on top of him, your back against his chest. You both let out an "Oof!" as your bodies collided.
"Great work, Dino," you wheezed out.
"Sorry, (y/n)! You know how I get when my men aren't around!" he reminded you.
You felt his chest rumble beneath you as he spoke, and you noticed that he was really warm. You yawned... being kidnapped by whoever had the guts to mess with Dino Cavallone was tiring. Maybe you'd take a nap so you could stay like this for a little bit longer.
"Good night, Dino," you yawned through the sentence, curling up on his chest.
"Wait, (y/n), we have to get out of here."
"Zzzz..."
"Hey, (y/n)! This is no time to be napping! I can't get up if you're there!"
"Zzzz..."
"Oh GREAT. HELP!!! ANYONE HEAR ME?! HELP!"
"Shut up, Dino. Just put your arms around me and go to sleep. For all I know, you could mess up with shouting for help and attract your worst enemy when your men aren't around."
Dino shut his mouth at that, assuming that your last statement was probably true. You seemed comfortable enough laying there, so he sighed and wrapped his arms around you, closing his eyes as well.
He wouldn't really mind staying this way for a bit longer either.
