Friendship

Neji pulled him into a hug and felt the red head tense, none the less he held him in his arms. After a minute he pulled away aware that the read head had not moved at all arms still at his sides eyes wide with shock.

Gaara stared ahead. Never in his life had anyone hugged him. It was completely foreign to him.

Then slowly a single tier trickled down his left check.

Neji saw this and raised his hand to Gaara face and wiped it away, then felt Gaara hug him and burry his face in his neck.

Smiling he wrapped his arms around Gaara and held him tight vowing to always protect him, and he knew that Gaara had heard him. Even though he had not spoke these words aloud.
