The Unggoy flew out of the doorway, several deep cuts running through its armour, and the flesh below. The squeals of its fellows made their Sangelhi leader turn to face the wounded grunt as it turned and ran from the battle, trying to stay alive. The squad commander forgave its cowardice, as it seemed like it had almost been cleaved in two, and moved towards the store-room that it had been searching and inventorying, as more of the squad's Unggoy retreated from the room, most cut or sliced in some way, from their air supply being damaged to, in one instance, their missing an arm. Flicking his wrist, the squad commander's plasma sword flared into life, as the sounds of clashing metal emanated from the store-room. The last of the Unggoy fled the room, two being carried by the others, wounded, but not killed. The commander snarled to his mercenary escort, and the two Kig-Yar followed him in.
"Have at you, foul beings!" The first of the two shorter ones fell to his sword, not benefiting from the fear that their previous foes had displayed, as the second readied its weapon, only to have its weapon, and arm, removed by a scythe.
Frowning slightly, Magus reflected on their opponents. "This is most strange. They aren't fiends, they lack magic. That is, however, what they most closely resemble."
Taking a blow from the largest creature's melee weapon, Robo pushed the thing off him by gripping it, and then launching his hand, before turning to Glenn and Magus. "They do not match any creature from my time. We appear to have arrived in a destination unlike any other we have encountered so far."
Magus called a bolt of lightning out of thin air to strike the large creature, killing it instantly, while the surviving smaller creature was stabbed by the frog-y creature that was once his nemesis. He relaxed his frown slightly. "We'll just have to hope all our advisories are as easy to dispatch as they were, and try to find our way back to the others, before finally facing Lavos."
