"Mhmm….coffee, sweet bitter coffee." I thought as walked into the store. I was almost drooling half-consciously.
As I entered Duckbuck (not a good name for coffee, totally not) all I could think about was the dark black, bitter-sweet, pure –
"Last coffee until tomorrow, come and get it!" the owner shouted.
I will get my hands on that coffee, I will kill for that cup, and I will use my life to get my hands on coffee.
"I goanna have that coffee so everyone back off!" this made everyone that crowded the counter move away and retreated to a safe distance.
"Jade what have I told you about manners in the store?"
"Whatever, just hand me that cup." I spoke, great now I'm in a mood that's a lot you idiotic people.
Suddenly someone came up behind me a started to speak not that I cared about that.
"I want that cup of coffee as well!" a boy with thick curl, chocolate brown said.
"WHAT!" I shouted.
"I want that cup of coffee."
"To bad you're not getting it."
"Eh, no I'm having that coffee
"NO, YOU, ARE, NOT! So step away from the counter."
Just then the owner got a broom and swiped us away from each other. Who knew that would work?
"You two are not getting the coffee unless you share it." He said sternly.
Man, I hate people who act stern and the colour yellow, doorknobs, ducks, man I hate ducks but never mind.
"Fine we'll share it, I want two straws NOW!"
This is so not helping my headache and murderous mood.
"I'm sorry I only have half a straw."
"Just leave the straw." The brown haired boy said.
"Whatever floats you're boat son."
"Ugh… we're sitting over there!"
"Fine with me." The boy said.
God, this boy is soo calm it is irritating me.
"So what's your name?"
"Jade West."
"Beck Oliver."
"I didn't ask."
"Well I thought you will like to know."
"I didn't."
"What school do you go to?"
"Hollywood Arts."
"Same."
"I didn't ask, now hand me over the coffee."
"Here."
*slip* "…Ahhh."
(Time skip: 5 mins later)
*slip* "your turn."
*slip* "yours."
*slip* "Hey."
"What."
"Aren't you the girl who stars in most of our school plays?"
"Yes."
"Do you like streaks in your hair?"
"Yes."
"Do you like drinking coffee?"
"Yes."
What person who does not like coffee go to a coffee shop and order coffee!
"Do you want to go out with me?"
"Sure why not."
"Meet you here tomorrow here at noon."
"Fine with me."
(11 months later)
"Hey Beck."
"Hey Jade."
*mwah*
Who knew that a simple day in a coffee shop could start I really good relationship, especially one that included me, Jade West of all people. Well I guess when people say "Who Knew" they really mean it.
