A continuation of the fantastic fanfic "Gods watching you L Lawliet" by L'Adore
I read the fanfic and loved it so much I had to do an after thingy lol hope this is good
I do not own death note or L'Adore's story just this stories plot. But don't you just think L is just so cute! Oh the things I would make L and Light do if I did own Death note!
It was 17 years later and L Lawliet was sitting at a computer screen looking up some data that showed a company that had a 25% chance of being Kira. Light was in the kitchen making drinks. Light had been cleared of being Kira as L had discovered Light was being controlled and so was doing these things against his will. They were now after the second Kira that was doing it at their will.
"Hey L what's this in the fridge" he asked seeing a white ball on plate.
L got up and walked into the kitchen to see what he was looking at.
"My snowball" he said thumb in mouth.
"Well I know what it is, but why do you have one and in the fridge?" he asked.
"I must keep it safe" he said and took it from him" he patted it and looked at it lovingly and placed it back at the back of the freezer.
"Um ok why?" Light asked very confused.
"it must not be allowed to die, Watari told me that it was a gift from mother nature and that I should care for it and love it" he said.
Light watched him for a minute "when you were a child?" he asked.
L nodded and walked back into the other room.
An hour later light looked up and smiled. Getting up he walked to L and placed some hands over his eyes.
"What are you doing Light-Kun?" he asked.
"Just come with me" he said and led him to his private quarters and put a coat, a scarf and gloves on L and the lead him blindfolded outside.
He shivered as the snowflakes hit him, he hadn't bothered with his own coat.
"OK you can open them now" he said and pulled the blindfold of.
L did so and his eyes widened at the sight.
The whole of the park they were in was covered in a sheet of white. It was beautiful; there were also sparkly lights and decorations everywhere.
Light grinned, he could see the child in L come out.
"Merry Christmas L" he said and handed him a small parcel wrapped in brown paper.
L frowned "what?" he asked confused.
"Its Christmas, that's for you" Light said.
L looked down at the parcel and unwrapped it slowly and delicately with his gloved hands.
Inside was a pendant on a silver chain. It was black as L's eyes. Inside it had a picture of him and Light the first day they met.
L looked back at Light with a small smile "thank you Light-Kun, this is lovely" he said and actually hugged him!
Light smiled and hugged him back rubbing his back.
"I am sorry I have nothing for you" he said clear guilt in his voice.
"its ok L. you did not know and you are so dedicated to the case its to be expected" he said.
L still felt guilty though.
"I can give you something though" he said.
"What's that?" Light asked.
"My first kiss" he said softly.
Light was shocked "What no L don't waist it on me" he said.
'But I want you to have it, I would not want anyone else to have it" he said and kissed him softly, innocently on the lips.
Light could not help but moan at this. It was so nice and sweet.
When they pulled apart L was blushing and looking down at his own gift.
"L" Light said taking the pendant and putting it around his neck.
"Yes Light-Kun" he asked.
"God will always be watching you, always protecting you" he said. He had seen the cross around L's neck a while ago.
L smiled "He is also protecting you Light-kun" he said and wrapped his arms round Light as they watched the fireworks that had started.
Watari stood in the doorway watching them, glad that L had finally found someone to trust and open up to.
"Oh yes, god is most defiantly protecting you y dear little L" he said to himself.
