Can You Love a Man?

~X~

After everyone returned, and got back on the "Sunny" they celebrated, and with Captain's orders were forced to tell all of their adventures. It was a fun evening and a happy one at that. Everyone was glad to be home and with all their Nakama again.

Once the party was over and most of the crew went to bed Sanji was left to clean up some of the dishes. And for once he did not mind. He was glad to be home

Little did he know he had a pair of eyes on him, watching his every move.

When Zoro had found out the island Sanji landed, and what he was made to do, he wanted nothing more then to tease him. But when Sanji told them all about the mission the Okama Queen gave him that he couldn't help but feel…, hurt? He knew it didn't make much since, but that's what it was.

However, Roronoa Zoro wasn't one to show his feelings, but he also wasn't going to let something special go either.

Zoro stood to his feet once Sanji had put the last dish into the sink, to soak for the night. He casually made his way over to the blond. "So, you were born a man, to love all ladies but not befriend them?"

Sanji blinked, a bit confused of the Swordsman's words or why he was even asking. "That's right; you have a problem with that?" Sanji asked, grinning and ready for a fight.

"Yeah I do shit cook. Just because you are a man, and you love the ladies, does that mean you can't love anything else?"

Sanji raised his curly eyebrow. "Huh? Of course I can love other things! I love to cook, I love to smoke, and I love my friends."

"Yeah, but can you love a man, like you love woman?"

Sanji blinked again, confused. What the hell was the swordsman asking him, and why was he asking him such a weird question? "What do you mean? I told you I love my Nakama."

"As friends?"

"Yes."

"Can you love them more then that…, in a romantic way?"

"A man? You are asking me if I can love a man in a romantic way. In a way a man should only love a woman?"

Zoro nodded.

Sanji thought about it for a moment. He was a ladies man, and loved all women, but he wasn't one to rule out love, or true love either. He supposed if in some bizarre chance he were to love a man, he would. "I suppose. I doubt I ever will though."

"What about me?"

"What about you?"

"Could you ever love me like that?"

Sanji's eyes widened. Was Zoro really asking him that question? Why was Zoro asking him this stuff? Did Zoro love him? Sanji blinked and stared at Zoro for a long time, thinking it over. Zoro was a good looking man, attractive if one seen it that way. He was strong and a good protector. "Well, I don't know. Maybe."

Zoro growled and pushed Sanji into the kitchen wall, holding him there. "Just say yes or no, Sanji."

Sanji yelped from the sudden push into the wall, and he glared at Zoro. "Zoro what the hell? I just gave you my answer!" he said, struggling under the Swordsman's hold.

"Just Say it!" Zoro shouted again. "Yes or no?"

Sanji growled in frustration and dropped his cigarette from his mouth. "If some how we got to the romantic relationship, which I doubt will ever happen, Yes, I guess I can say I can fall in love with you. There happy?"

Zoro grinned and his grip loosened. "Yeah, that's all I wanted to know," he said, and pulled the cook closer to him by the tie and kissed him firm on the lips.

Sanji's eyes widened from the sudden kiss, but he soon relaxed and eased into it, his arms gently wrapping around the swordsman's neck as he kissed back.

I guess I really could….
