"Darkness followed by destruction. This is what must be done Lea; you cannot stop it, but only embrace it."
"No! I won't become like you!" A little boy with ginger hair screamed, before being silenced by the roaring flames surrounding him.
Emerald green eyes shot open bloodshot. They belonged to a face covered in sweat and tears, now panting as his brother's last words repeated in his head.
Darkness . . . destruction. This. . . must happen. . . Lea. You cannot stop it. . . embrace it. . .
He shuddered as the voice re-played in his head over, and over again.
It was another sunny morning in the Radiant Garden. Lea always liked the sun, everything about it, its warmth, its color, everything.
He sighed and got up, then left to the bathroom to go wash his face.
He lived alone, in a one bedroom apartment, right over a rice shop. There he would sweep the floors, and even sometimes help his Aunt and Uncle deliver goods to costumers.
Although other than that, he'd practice his magic. Why? It was a part of him, a part of his family. Something he could never get rid of. So why not make the best of it?
As the red headed spiky haired teenager headed down the stairs into the shop, he was greeted by his Uncle.
"Here's the key to the garage. Don't lose it." Was all he said before heading the opposite direction, giving Lea a cold glare before he completely turned his back on him.
Lea's hand balled into fist, which trembled with frustration.
Why does everyone blame me? He thought as he headed out the door.

"Here you are Miss Kutiwachi. Enjoy your meal."
The door just slammed. Lea sighed. He just has that effect on people, ever since. . . He didn't want to think about it.
He felt there was no need to report to his 'guardians' since he had just finished his last delivery.
So he just walked, away from the town just to see where his legs would take him far away, from everything.
He stopped at a field, a barren, dry grass, with not trees in sight. In the middle was a blackened spot, in the shape of a square. Then narrowed his green eyes, this is where. . . .
(Flash Back)
A little boy, with red hair, and bright green eyes, wearing simply jeans and a black t-shirt went running to the center of a clearing. Where here he had found a teenage boy with dark red hair, and pale green eyes twisted in rage, he was on all fours, panting as a dark aurora surrounded him. Across from him was a book, lying open, while flipping through pages on its own.
"Daren, is that really you?" The little boy gasped, he couldn't believe that his brother had become this.
The suffering ginger snapped his head to give the boy an unnatural glare, eyes blood shot, and then somehow recovered his senses and his gaze softened.
"Lea. . . Run. While I still have control, run, and don't look back. Go tell mom she was right."
Lea froze. I can't just leave him like this! He thought.
"GO!" The teenager shouted, a little harsher then he meant to.
The little boy took off, sprinting across the field as fast as his small legs could carry him. Not caring as branches and thorns tore at his skin and clothes.
He's gone. . . but I have to get home, now! The boy thought and raced along the dirt road, black flames licking at the grass, threatening to catch him if he slowed down.
I might continue this if I get enough reviews for it. I'm not sure.
