Bella: Friday 16, 2005
The wind blew through my long mahogany hair. Rain hit against my skin and I shivered in fear. The sun was setting over the horizon and the waves were getting more powerful with each blow against the ragged rocks. The ocean looked so dark. So empty. I knew that was where I was meant to be. There was no more reason for me to be on this earth.
Edward had left me six months ago in the woods. He told me that we couldn't be together because I was human. He told me that I had just been a fling and he wanted to discover someplace new. He said he was done in Forks.
I stood there shocked while he ran away without another word. I knew the day would come but I didn't think it would be so soon. My father, Charlie Swan found me in the woods shivering and wet. He tried to help me get better but I fell into a catatonic state. Doctors claimed that I was suffering from a broken heart and there was no cure.
That I believed was true.
So now, here I was prepared to end my life.
Tears flow freely down my face. The wind blows harder and I stumble forward. I don't try to stop myself this time. I just close my eyes and step off the edge.
I love you, Edward.
