-Kindergarten days

It was the first week of school and all was going well in Mrs. Molina' kindergarten classroom, the children were getting along well especially Alex and Gigi who were inseparable.
"Your picture is so pretty Alex." Gigi said as she admired her friend's art work. Alex had always been a talented artist.
"Yours is too Gigi." Alex said as she looked at her friend's mediocre drawing of a purse and lipstick.
"It's snack time everyone!" Mrs. Molina called from the snack table that was lined with goodies.
"Come, on. Come, on!" Alex yelled as she grabbed her best friends hand and led her to the snack table they were second and third on line.
"That stupid new girl beat us!" Gigi said referring to the girl in the front of the line with her fiery red hair in two pigtails.
"Don't be mean Gigi, she might be nice." Alex said. She didn't admit it, but she thought the new girl, Harper might be fun to play with.
"Hmph." Gigi huffed as she and Alex got their juice and cookies and skipped over to the two pink mats by the toy kitchen. When they got there they found Harper sitting on Gigi's Mat.
"That's my mat!" Gigi yelled at Harper who looked up innocently at Gigi's pale blue eyes which were piercing into her.
"I-I'm sorry, I didn't know." Harper stammered as she got up from the mat with her juice in hand.
"Well, let's make sure you never do it again." Gigi said as she whispered something to Alex. Alex quickly jumped in front of Gigi hoping that she would stop, but it was already too late. Gigi had thrown cup of apple juice on the front of Alex's pants, and spilled the rest on the floor when she noticed what she had done.
"I'm… I'm sorry I was aiming for-" Gigi began but Alex quickly cut her off.
"I can't believe you did that Gigi! I don't want to be best friends anymore!" Alex yelled at her former friend who was beginning to get upset for yelling at her.
"Look everyone, Alex had an accident." Gigi said as she pointed at the spilt apple juice all over the floor. Everyone started laughing at Alex who was crying, and trying to explain that Gigi had set her up, but no one knew the truth except for Gigi and Harper.
"What is going on here?" Mrs. Molina asked when she saw the commotion going on.
"Gigi through-" Harper began but Gigi talked over her.
"Alex peed her pants." Gigi said in the cutesy voice she used when she wanted to get her way.
"Is that true Alexandra?" Mrs. Molina asked as she wiped away her tears. But Alex just kept crying.
"No one wants to be friends with a baby who pees their pants." GiGi mumbled.
"What was that Gertrude?" Mrs. Molina asked.
"Gertrude?" Harper snickered much to Alex's pleasure. The two began laughing.
"You two cut it out." Mrs. Molina scolded as Gigi stuck her tongue out.
"Let's go call you mom so she can bring you a new pair of pants Alex." Mrs. Molina said as she tried to walk Alex to her desk, but she wouldn't budge.
"What's the matter Alexandra?" Mrs. Molina asked.
"Can I take Harper with me?" Alex asked as she grabbed harpers hand.
"Sure, if it's okay with Harper." Mrs. Molina said.
"Do you want to be friends?" Alex asked Harper who was now beaming and nodding her head profusely. Ever since then Alex and Harper had been the best of friends, and Gigi became their bitter enemy.
