Ganondorf and the Sage of Dark

I awoke.

The room was filled with sunlight. Morning birds were singing and i could hear the jolly voices of the people in the streets below through the open window. I lifted myself onto my elbows and looked blearily across the room.

Ganon stood, still and silent.

He was wearing his full suit of armour, facing away from me, staring at the remaining embers of the fire. He held his sword in both hands, the point resting on the floor.

'We must leave Hyrule Town,' he said in a low, soft voice. 'I wish to train with you. Your sword skills are more than impressive, but there is room for improvement.' He paused.
'There are creatures that lurk amongst the forest. Foul beasts that prowl the land surrounding the temple...'
Turning around, he put his sword in it's sheath. 'I shall saddle our horses. I will be at the East Drawbridge for you, the Inn has been paid for. Don't take too long.'

'Temple?' I asked, but he left before i could question any further. Still shocked at having recieved the news of being the Sage of Dark from Ganondorf the night before i stumbled out of the large double bed and dragged myself to the fireplace. My overclothes lay folded in a neat pile on the chair next to the fire, my sword lay across them.

I smiled and got myself ready. I left the Inn swiftly. The town was filled with pleasant faces, everyone was talking about the dance the previous night. I stopped briefly to buy two apples from one of the stalls in the South Street before heading to the East gates.

The day was warm and the air was still. The water from the moat flowed smoothly, making a soft rustling murmur. I began walking across the wide, wooden drawbridge. Ganon came into view, he was standing with out horses stroking their noses as they nudged him fondly. His black stallion towered over my shire horse, Billie.

Spotting me, he smiled and leapt up onto his steed as Billie trotted over seeming somewhat happy to see me again. I placed my sword into my rucksack along with the two apples and mounted her.

'Good morning, Daisy,' he said smirking.
