Unnatural Stimuli

"This is all your fault you know," blamed the young man, Edward Elric, whom was seated in an unusually uncomfortable chair. Said chair was positioned in front, not behind, a large oak desk, the chairs occupant tapping his gloved fingers against the top of the desk in slight annoyance.

"And what are we talking about now? It's not like you don't blame me for everything, but I would like to know what I have done this time Hagane," the voice that belonged to the man was completely stable and showed little to no emotion. But that was just who he was at first glance. Hagane, a term of affection if one looked close enough was about as far as the older male would go in addressing a subordinate. He, being one Roy Mustang, was merely a masked man whom showed nothing, to nobody.

"You know what you did, Taisa. You and your little annoying habits, along with your overly oppressive nature tend to make other people around you adopt said annoying habits, and sometimes want what you want," now, if Roy didn't know better, he would have suspected something amiss with Edward's statement. Something deep down that bothered him, but that would only be if Roy didn't know Edward.

"Oh, I do, do I? If I knew I would not be asking," a frown made it's way onto Edward's face at these words. No matter what he said, Roy would always have an eloquent way to shoot him down, or insult him. It always drove him insane. "Besides, I do not find my habits to be annoying, but rather exemplary and a good reference to follow."

Shaking his head in slight disgust, his long plait was thrown over his shoulder, and rested there until Edward started to play with it. "Exemplary my ass Taisa. Getting teen-aged boys…erm young men… addicted to caffeine is not exemplary in any sane persons book." Removing his hand from his plait, he picked up his dark colored mug and raised it in a way that would say 'look, here's proof' before pressing it to his lips and drinking from it.

"I daresay… Hagane, that my need for stimuli in the morning should not be so closely watched. So it is your own fault if you choose to stunt your growth further." With that simply stated, Roy lowered his gaze back to his paper work, and actually started to work.
