Hello! Ths is the sequel to "Tatoos" and this time, its NejixTen all the way! YES! lol.. ok.. it kinda picks up where Tattoos left off, so if you heven't read that one... you dont need to. (Just go read it anyways)
Tenten's Tattoos
Neji knows about all of Tenten's tattoos. The one behind her ear is rather hard to miss; the one on the back of her left knee was seen when she got a cut right above her knee; he got a good look at the fan on her hip when they played a vicious game of tag with Lee; she showed him the one on her spinal cord; and the one at the base of her hairline was right in his line of view when she turned around.
He doesn't say anything until she gets the one on the base of her hairline, but every time she gets a new one (he knows because she doesn't come to training and calls in sick) he asks himself why she would want to mark herself, to curse and bind herself to these ideas.
When they (finally) go out on a date he finds out how sensitive the one on her neck and the one behind her ear are. When they (finally- Neji waited for that day for a long time) become lovers he finds out how sensitive the ones on her hip, her back, and knee are. Neji has long since discovered that if he kisses anyone of them she becomes putty in his hands (and he uses that particular piece of information to his advantage quite often).
They dot talk about marriage or kids because neither of them wants either- they're perfectly content to stay lovers forever- there's no question that they'll stay faithful.
On Neji's 19th birthday (they'd been together for two years) Tenten took him to a place he'd never been to before. It was in the shadier part of Konoha, and the sign read 'Tattoos'. He raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything. She smiled and led him inside. Half an hour later, Neji was watching the love of his life get a tattoo on the inside of her wrist- so far they'd only gotten the N and the E done. It didn't take a genius to guess what she was getting tattooed- his name.
When it was over she smiled, held up her hand and said, "Happy birthday, Neji, I love you." And then Neji sighed, unwrapped his hand and looked at the tattoo artist.
"I want you to tattoo the name "Tenten" on my forearm. Do it fast."
Although i'm not sure about Neji's characteration, i think i got it down in the last line... (i hope)
